1. Mr Stratton asked about wife's benefits on the death of a Governor. I wrote to Mr Willby, Pension Department on 4 July. His reply is on 11 August.

2. I attach a note setting out the position. Mr Russell, Governor Cayman Islands - I believe the question arose from his wife - is, according to the Crown Agents a member of the Fiji Widows and Orphans Pension Fund and his wife would therefore qualify for a pension (with normal pension increases).
