GOVERNORS PENSION SCHEME
I am sorry that I have not sent you earlier the amendments proposed to the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme in parallel to the amendments I proposed in my letter of 16 August to the draft Governors Pension Scheme. For various reasons it has not been possible to have these fully checked but I enclose a preliminary draft. It may require editing and it will have to be cleared with the Staff Side. I am asking my colleagues to clear it in principle quickly as you may need the cross-references for the Governors Pension Scheme. Similarly we will be glad to know the final numbering in section 3 of the Governors Pension Scheme as we have been unable to completely eliminate references to the provisions of this scheme.
