1 see that Mrs Foley wrote to you on 20 February asking when we might expect a reply to my letter of 29 June 1977 about the clearance of the draft of the new Governors' rension Scheme, but I am sorry to see that we still have no news from CBD or progress nor of any obstacles to early clearance.

A number of questions are now outstanding on Governors' pensions matters between ourselves and the FCC which are causing us considerable embarrassment. „e would be grateful therefore for anything you can do to hasten clearance of the draft or to explain why it cannot be agreed.
