Would you please refer to Gealy's letter of 4 May 1976 to Stock which set out a number of points for settlement before we could proceed further with the draft of the new Governors' Pension Scheme.

we accept your recommendation and accordingly have deleted Section 4 Injury Benefits and replaced it with new Section 4 Compensation for Governors for Loss of Office. The rules are based on the arrangements previously agreed between Treasury and DTC/FCO and administered by the FCG as an adjunct to the Governors' Pension Scheme.
