44. On the morning of 14th August, 1976, acting on information, a party of Narcotics Bureau officers searched a small rocky beach on the south shore of Bluff Island. Buried under some rocks they found 22 sacks containing a total of 706 kilogrammes of raw opium. No arrest was made in connection with the seizure.
