Mr. Parry asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action is being taken by Her Majesty's Government, the Hong Kong Government and Interpol concerning ex- tradition proceedings against persons in Taiwan wanted for questioning by the Independent Commission Against Cor- ruption..

Mr. Luard: There are no arrangements for the extradition of offenders from Taiwan to Hong Kong.

› Mr. Luard: About 20 persons against whom warrants have ben issued by the Independent Commission Against Cor- ruption are believed to be in Taiwan. A further 21 persons believed to be in Taiwan are wanted for questioning.

Mr. Kilroy-Silk asked the Secretary of State for Industry what investment has been made to date by the National Enter- prise Board in Scotland, Wales and the Northern Region respectively.

Mr. Les Huckfield: In addition to the NEB's investment in companies in the Northern Region, Scotland, Wales and

- the Northern Region have all benefited from the NEB's support for British Ley- land, Rolls-Royce and Ferranti. Invest- ment in companies operating exclusively in Scotland or Wales is a task for the Scottish and Welsh Development Agencies.
