P..1 Thomas Roy GUY sworn in English, states:

Senior Investigation Officer employed by I.C.Aus Co Prior to assuming that appointment I was a police officer in United Kingdom the Manchester Police. Detective Inspector in that force. On 24/2/75

I conducted certain inquiries in respect of 1st Accused. I made notes on that date. (Permission granted to refer to notes). On 24/2/75

other ICAC officer, Mr. Clarke, I saw 1st Accused in

cffices of ICAC. I had previously with other officers searched Mr.

Cunningham's home. I witnessed Hr. Clarke talking to Mr. Cunningham

and Mr. Clarke said: ir. Cunningham, certain inimation has been

received that you have sent a considerable amount of money out of

the Colony by purchasing bank drafts. Our information is that drafts were purchased at the Liu Chong Hing Bunk. Do you have anything to say about this?" Mr. Cunningham said: "I understand exactly what you are saying Mr. Clarke but I have nothing to say

until I have consulted my solicitor. I haven't got one but still,

Mr. Clarke said "Of course this is entirely up to you. Cur information is that a sergeant naned Chiu Tak bought the drafts for you from the Liu Chong Hing Bank." Mr. Cunninghan said: "Mr. Chiu Tak is a liar." Mr. Clarke said: "Are you denying any drafts

were bought for you?" Ir. Cunningham said: "I don't wish to make any statement at this point. I must have a solicitor." Mr. Cunninghan did in fact contact a solicitor Mr. Hampton by phone and Mr. Hampton came to ICAC offices interviewed ir. Cunningham and they left together. Later same day I served & Section 14
