How did this come to be inserted in amnesty?

In 1964 in the course of my duty I had brought some prison officers back to a police station, but they were subsequently released after they were warned by Duty Officer to behave themselves because they had quarrelled with other persons. Since then a lot a rumours spread out and that incident was also published in newspapers as well as magazines. Before I was sent to gaol it was also published if I were put in Stanley Frison I would be killed and the reason for doing so was also published and it related to the incident in 1964 and I was also afraid of other prisoners as I had arrested many persons before and those persons in prison would bear a grudge against me.

You are seriously suggesting in 1964 you brought some prison officers to police station you would be murdered?

According to article published in newspaper that was so and 1 was

afraid.
