PW14 Chowing Sang affirmed in Punti, states:

I am a driver by occupation. In 1963 my occupation was also that of a driver. In 1953 I was working as a driver for Ma Hak Shing but later after he left I also quit my job. I started working for him about the beginning of 1970. I was working for him as a driver end also took care of documents in the office. Ma Hak Shing was a Detective Staff Sergeant. When I worked for him he was stationed in Kowloon City. I worked for him until he was transferred to Causeway Bay.

I also followed him to Causeway Bay. In Causeway Bay I also worked for him in the same capacity. I looked after the documents in the office inside the Police Station.

I continued to drive for him at that time.

I did nothing else for him, who worked for Ma Hak Shing just these few. I had no dealings with any of these persons. At present. I live at 81 Nathan Road Flat A, 11/F, Kowloon. I don't know where private attendants of Ma worked sometimes I saw them sitting at the Club - Hoi Shuen Building Causeway Bay. I can't remember the house number. The house is in Electric Road. It was either on 2nd or 3rd floor. I can't remember for sure. I slept there at night.

I am not sure what duties those persons did for lla. Sometimes other persons went up there to sit. I do not know their names. I was paid $1,000 per month. When I was working for lla in Causeway Bay I received my wages from Ma Hak Shing- usually in the office. I stayed in the office most of the time except on occasions when he asked me to drive him out. I handled case papers I give him the required documents when he asked for them. I did not handle other documents. I have seen Uncle Cheng in the office but not the others. I can't remember when he went there sometimes. I worked for Ma in Causeway Bay until Ma left his job. I stayed there and assisted Wong Chi Keung, another detective sergeant. I did the same work as when I assisted Ma Hak Shing. When I worked for Wong Chi Keung, I also stayed at the same address, Hoi Shuen Building and my working place was in the office of Bay View Police Station. I handled day to day case papers for Wong Chi Keung other types of documents. Wong Chi Keung had other employees - private employees. I knew the nicknames of them
