is at the Prince Edward Road Kowloon City Branch of the Hang Seng Bank and the second bank was at the Tee No Street Branch of Hang Seng Bank.

After I purchased same bank drafts I returned to Bay View Police Station. When I went up to the 1/F I saw Ma Hak Shing sitting in his office. I handed the bank drafts to him together with the sheet of paper with the English writing he had given me. He received the documents, put them in his pocket and wont down-- stairs.

I can identify the European in uniform who was speaking to Ma Hak Shing. He is present in Court. (Indicates 1st Accused). When I went to the banks I had to sign on several sheets of forms. (Document shown to witness). I identify my signature on this document. (Exh. PP30) I cannot read the date. I cannot read English. I only signed my name there. The other writing on the form was completed by the bank staff. (Bank draft shown to witness). I cannot identify this document because it does not have my signature and I do not read English. I have not seen any document like this before. Exh. PP317

Exh. PP22 A & B shown to witness. I have not signed these documents. The bank drafts purchased by me would bear my signature at the back. I had been asked to sign many documents at the time when I purchased. the bank drafts. I can only identify the ones which I had signed. I

was asked to sign many forms and after I had done so 2 of the copies

were returned to me. I could not read so I do not know what they were.

After the 10 days in Bay View Police Station Ma Hak Shing

rented a place at No.25, Flat A2, Electric Road and he asked me to

answer telephone calls for him at that place. Then I started working there I went there every morning. When Ma Hak Shing wanted to contact me he would telephone to this club to find me. Once in one or two days

time, Uncle Luk would hand over monies he had collected from various

gambling stalls and opium divans and I would bank the money with the Hang Seng Bank. I banked the money with the 2 branch offices I had mentioned. Ma Hak Shing instructed me not to use his proper name but enter by using a false name. On one occasion it was Ma fiak Shing who

brought me to the Kowloon City Branch and he took me to see the
