I was not working.

Did you tell ICAC officers about your activities in Kowloon City?

They did not ask me and I did not tell them.

It would seem they were not interested - with a few questions

it was discovered that it was a big syndicate?

When they asked about Causeway Bay they asked people of Causeway Bay and I only answered to that effect.

You described yourself as retired could you tell us from what occupation you did retire?

I worked in metal ware shop and when I was in Macau I made cigarettes.

You had a cigarette factory?

My father had a cigarette factory and I assisted in factory. When did you retire?

I am of poor health. I have come to Hong Kong for about 10

years. I came from Macau 10 years ago and since then I stopped working.

You told us solicitors who dealt with your father's estate were K. F. Hong & Co. Did you see your solicitors about your father's property?

No. I did not.
