1. I have been informed by D06, Ministry of Defence, whe received a side copy of my letter of 12 September to Mrs wallis, Frisens Department, liome úffice, that you have undertaken departmental responsibility for the case of Bassett and Futtock. Mrs wallis has now replied to my letter to the effect that the Home Office are prepared to accept the two priseners en permanent transfer to the UK, and I would be grateful for your agreement.
