Bob Brown has passed to us a copy of your letter of
November about Gunner Puttock, who is currently serving a life
sentence in Hong Kong.

As Bob Brown explained in his letter of 18 July it was
for the Government of Hong Kong to request the removal of Gunner
Puttock to the United Kingdom. This they have now done and David
Owen signed a removal order on 16 November.
This order has been sent to the Hong Kong Government who now
have to make arrangements for the move. They have been asked to
keep us informed of the arrangements and, if you wish, I will be
happy to pass on to you Gunner Puttock's expected date of arrival in this country as soon as we know it
