Affairs what has been the expansion in the public sector of education in providing more vocational traming places in tech- nical institutes in Hong Kong over the last three years.
Mr. Ennuis: The total enrolment in technical institutes has increased from 11,405 at the beginning of the academie year in 1972, to 14,315 m 1975, an increase of 26 per cent.
Mr. James Johnson asked the Secre tary of State for Foreign and Common- wealth Allairs how many Hong Kong police officers since January 1973, giving their tank, race and place from which notification was made, have while on leave overseas (a) resigned, thì sought premature retirement, of (c) remed ; and how many of these were under investiga- tion for alleged corruption.

Mr. Ennals: There is a frequent ox- change of views with the United States Government on the situation in the Middle East. My right hon. Friend has no plans for an early meeting with Dr. Kissinger to discuss the subject.
