the Home Secretary on 7 April 1977 enclosing a letter dated 24 March 1977 from Mrs Elsie Elliott concerning

an who claims that he was unjustly demoted from the rank

Mr Newens' of Inspector in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force. letter has been forwarded to the FCO and Lord Goronwy-Roberts has been asked to reply.

of corruption against various Police Officers and has pursued a long running legal campaign to obtain a remedy for his grievances. His case has now been taken up by Mrs Elliott and an "ad hoc"
