The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (Amendment of Memorandum) Ordinance (Chapter 1008)

In 1976 this Ordinance was enacted to authorise The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce to amend a clause of its Memo- randum of Association. The Registrar of Companies and the Chamber have confirmed that the provisions of the Ordinance have been complied with. It has, therefore, become spent and could be repealed (First Schedule, item 4).
Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance (Chapter 132)

The Public Health and Urban Services (Amendment) Ordinance 1976 (No 9 of 1976) amended certain sections of this Ordinance by transferring from the Governor to the Authority the functions conferred on the Governor by those sections. Section 144A, which relates to those sections, was, through an oversight, not amended at that time. Opportunity is now taken to correct the error (Second Schedule, item 1).
Summary Offences Ordinance (Chapter 228)

The amendment of this Ordinance is for the purpose of re-enacting (with verbal variations) sections 27 and 28 of the Vagrancy Ordinance (Chapter 229) as explained in paragraph 2 above (Second Schedule, item 2).
Hong Kong War Memorial Fund Ordinance (Chapter 1026)

Section 9 of this Ordinance requires the Committee, which administers the Fund, to forward to the Chief Secretary, within one month after the termination of each calendar year, a report on the administration of the Fund, a duly audited statement of receipts and expenditure during the preceding year and a statement of assets and liabilities, At a meeting of the Committee it was resolved that the period of one month should be extended to six months. The amendment gives effect to the resolution (Second Schedule, item 3).
