Where there are houses on agricultural land which (i) are occupied by the owner of the land or his family; and (ii) conform to village type exempted house standards, the owner provided he is a villager may, if he does not own any other building land, convert his holding to building status and qualify for treatment under paragraph 1(a)(i) above.

(a) Cost of reprovisioning a Chi Tong of similar

size and style.

Cost of building a 700 square foot Chi Tong in exchange for surrender of one house entitlement in respect of Cho or Tong property. Cost based on $145,000 at 1975 prices.

(c) Ritual expenses in connection with the construc-

tion and opening of the Chi Tong. Geomancer's fees $5,000. Ceremonial expenses $10,000.

Removal/Decoration Allowance

$6,500 per house allocated.
