You may like to see the enclosed near (but not quite) unintelligible telegram that the Frime Minister has received from "CHOW KAM AND CHOW NGOW REPR. ANT. TIVI OF HANG 10K VILLAGE LAM TAI TUEN MUN NT HK".

The department has not been asked to reply to it. Nor am I asking you now for any background to it, unless Robert Farry MP, whom the press cuttings describe as having taken a special interest in housing during his recent visit to Hong Kong, actually looked into the issues surrounding "survival" and "invade human rights", (as well as "good office and uncolonialism treatment") vis avis Hang lok village. If he did, I would be grateful for some background in case he raises the matter in larliament.
