Your Excellency,
We were disappointed by your reply (ref. no.: sec 11/5/1 IV) which we received on 27th August. We realize that we have not submitted full details of our conditions in our previous letter because we were in a hurry. We wish to inform that our relative(s) tried to help us and sent us the paper on our application to stay in Canada. Nonetheless, there were some mistakes in the names ie my name & my son's name, because there were many members of our family who wanted to apply for immigration. That is the reason why we did not give detailed information in this respect. Furthermore, we wish to point out that two of our sons have already gone overseas with our relatives. Owing to the lack of diplomatic relation between the countries concerned, they cannot apply for our entry directly. We beseech Y.E. to have mercy on us, grant us permission to entry Hong Kong on transit to other country to join our family abroad.
We hope that Her Majesty the Queen will grant us special approval on occasion of her Silver Jubilee and we pray that god will take care of us through Her Majesty's grace whereby we may join our children again. We should be most grateful if our family can be admitted to Hong Kong. We wish to re-iterate that we have relatives and friends in Hong Kong. They are CHAN Kwong-chik (relative), TSANG Kwok-wai (nephew), TSANG Sik-luen (elder brother and TSANG Kwok-wai's father) & TSANG Sheong (cousing) who lives at 172, Ap Lei Street, M/F., Shum Shui Po, Kln. His factory is at 690, Castle Peak Road, Kai Ming Industrial Building, 2/F., Flat C. We also have a friend called HUI Shing-yeuk of Lap Shun Company, Rm. 903, Overseas Merchants Building, Queen's Road Central. Our photographs and papers are with our younger brother CHAN kwong-chik and our elder brother TSANG Sik-luen.
