1. You will remember that Sir Y K Kan and Dr S Y Chung called on Lord Goronwy-Roberts on 8 June and left with him a written statement containing the views of the Unofficial Members of the Executive and Legislative Councils on the British Government's Green Paper "British Nationality Law: Discussion of Possible Changes". The Minister of State undertook to write to Sir Y K and Dr S Y replying to the points made both in the written memorandum and in discussion.

2.

Lord Goronwy-Roberts has now signed two letters to Sír Y K Kan and Dr S Y Chung which I am sending herewith for onward transmission.
