Murtior to our letter of the 15th November 1976 wo are inob:uched by our clients to dorm you that 43 & P...... of the danssion betwe our c......ts and your Chief Agineer Mr.C.K. Chow on 10.12.76, our clients would be prepared to withdraw the objection on the condition that your Traffic Engineering Division will provide a "return" movement under the flyover at Magazine Gap Road/Robinson Road/Garden Road .... Lch is now under construction.
hbe reuson for gur clien....' objection to the proposed flyover at Robinson Road/Old Peak Road is that it will acay our clients' right of access to their property when travelling ...om the wost along Robinson Road. If the "urn" mentioned in the above paragraph is permitted (even at off-peak hours) it will not be necessary to go all the way down Garden Road and up Cotton Tree Drive to come back to Robinson Road.
The various pros and cons were discussed with your engineers and we trust that our clents' proposal would meet their approval.
