(a) To implement when available

the approved recommendations of the Panel of Experts and consultants made in their reports on their special investigation into fill slopes.

(b) To draw up recommendations

arising from the reports of the P.W.D. Special Team on their inspection of slopes in the vicinity of squatter areas.

(c) To consider the report of the

working party on the type of organisation required to inspect and ensure the

stability of slopes which

could affect populated areas.

(a) The reports of the Panel and

consultants are expected in December 1976.

(b) The first reports of the P.W.D. Special Team investigating slopes near squatter areas are expected early in November.

(c) The working party is expected

to complete its findings and make its recommendations in November 1976.

(a) Begin implementing

the approved recommendations

of the Panel and consultants.

(b) Obtain approval

(c) Establish the

approved organisation for inspecting and stabilising slopes.
