(vi) Trade unions have considerable
freedom. Under newly introduced legislation there are restrictions on the freedom to strike over non- industrial (political) matters and union members, officials and unions as well as employers can be fined under certain circumstances for re- fusing to end a strike or a lock out.
(vii) New Zealanders and residents are not in any way prevented or dis- couraged from emigrating.
