1. Teddy Kidd has told me about the report of the Hong Kong Standard article on the Turner Report. This is just to let you know they have got it backwards and that Bert Turner met briefly representatives of the TUC (and the CBI) when he was here in June. There is no immediate proposal that he should see them again.

Turner's meeting with the TUC representatives seems to have gone off satisfactorily and I am not aware that the TUC have expressed any views after the meeting that their point of view is not being taken adequately into account.
