1. At the meeting of the Overseas Labour Consultative Committee on 29 April which was chaired by Mr Luard, it was decided that the TUC and the CBI should have an early opportunity to discuss Professor Turner's interim conclusions and the points they wish him to consider in the final phase of his study.
2. Professor Turner, who is the Burton Frofessor of Industrial Relations at Cambridge University and currently on a year's sabbatical at the University of Sydney, New South Wales, is making a sort visit to England or the purpose of meeting the CBI and the TUC during the period 2 - 8/9 June. Mir Luard may wish to know that the following programme has been arranged for him:-
