Comparison of Hong Kong's Labour Standards and Social Benefits with those of neighbouring Countries

26. Paragraph 17 of the minutes of the OLCC meeting of 30 January 1976 recorded the decision that -

"It should be established how Hong Kong compared in its

labour and social standards with neighbouring Asian countries.'

The results of the survey incorporating material on Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan was circulated to members of the OLCC by means of an information paper INF (1/76) in October last year. А
