Dear Mr. Crosland,

You will recall that at a meeting between yourself and representatives of the General Council on April 12 the proposed survey of the labor situation in Hong Kong by'a team led by Professor Turner was discussed.

On behalf of the General Council I am now writing again to ask whether you would consider associating

I an a trade unionist with Professor Turner's enquiry. also writing to ask whether it would be possible to arrange for a meeting to be held between Professor Turner and representatives of the General Council prior to the team leaving for Hong Kong.

Yours sincerely,
