I enclose copies of two letters dated 15 December 1976 and 8 January 1977 from Professor Turner.

You will note from the earlier letter that the cost of the survey exceeded the amount of £930 originally authorised and, in fact, may be above the excess of 10% which, when we spoke in November last, you thought could be allowed.

The report from Professor Turner has now been received and any lances due to him may therefore be paid.

Will you please ascertain from the British Trade Commission Hong Kong the amounts pdto Professor Turner, Dr Hart and Dr Fosh and arrange for a statement of the account to be prepared.
