INTERNATIONAL LABOUR CONVENTION NO. 94: LABOUR CLAUSES (PUBLIC CONTRACTS), 1949

I have the honour to refer to the Government Secretariat's letter (16) SS 94/3/5683/58 dated 5 May 1977 and to inform you that a declaration was registered by the Director-General of the International Labour Office on 25 July 1977 stating that the Labour Clauses (Public Contracts) Convention, 1949 (No. 94) will be applied to Hong Kong with the following modification:

Article 1 The Convention is applied only to

contracts to which the Public Works Department is a party.

The declaration previously registered in respect of the application of this Convention to Hong Kong has been cancelled.
