Improvements expected to be made during 1977

Improvements are expected to be made in 1977 in respect of 5 conventions (Nos 94, 17, 42, 90 and 101). Convention No 94 has had to be carried over from the 1976 programme, due to difficulties encountered in consultations with the Building Contractors Association Ltd. Details of these improvements are at Appendix II.

Further Improvements after 1977

Appendix III lists nine conventions on which some progress may be possible after 1977. These will be examined in greater detail during 1977, with a view to further progress during 1978. I will address you further on the proposed programme for 1978.

The 27 conventions on which no improvements are envisaged at present are listed in Appendix IV.
