ARTICLE 22 REPORTS ON THE APPLICATION OF INTERNATIONAL TABOUR

CONVENTIONS:

1974-1976

1. The reports enclosed with your letter of 20 September 1976, ref. SS 3/5683/58 VII, have now been sent forward to the IIO with the exception of the report on Convention No 8 which is being held here pending receipt of your comments. Our telno 81 Saving of 15 December refers.

Several points have arisen with regard to Conventions

Nos 5 and 26; these are the subject of separate correspondence.

You will wish to be aware that some minor amendments have

been made to your reports on Conventions Nos 14, 97 and 98.

These are as follows:

Convention 14: Your reply on page three of the report has been amended, along the lines of your trial report,

to read:

"No decision has been made in regard to the last

paragraph of this Article;"

Convention 97: Your reply under Article 1 of

Question II has been reworded slightly;

Convention 98: Your reply under Question IV on page

five of the report has been amended.

Copies of the amended reports are being sent to you under

separate cover for your records.

5. We trust that you will see no objection to the action taken.
