ANNUAL CONFERENCE 1977 MOTION 83

My Executive Council have recently been considering the terms of the above motion which was referred from this Union's Annual Conference this year in which the motion wholeheartedly supports a ban on the importation of goods made in Hong Kong by child labour.

My Executive Council agreed to support the terms of this motion and I was instructed to write to you on this subject in the hope that legislation could be introduced to prevent child labour being used in Hong Kong.

Yours sincerely
