Dear Mr. Tran,

Please refer to the Agreement between the European Economio Community and Hong Kong ca trade ju textile produota initialled between the two parties on 3 Dyppaber 1977,

Hong Kong hereby notifies the Community that during the currency of the Agreement, it will not invoke the provisionn of the Geneva Arrangement as they concern handloom fabrics of the cottage industry or hand-mado cottage industry products made of such handloom fabrics, or traditional folklore handicraft textile products, as provided for in Article 12 (3) of the said Arrangement, without the agroekont of the Community.
