in 1974, has proved successful and the Corps has since been increased
in size to operate in eight Police Divisions. A staff study is now being
undertaken to assess the overall requirement for the Traffic Warden Corps
throughout Hong Kong. In addition, amendments to the Road Traffic Crdinance
are being considered with the object of tightening control to assist in
preventing meter interference by means of foreign coins and spurious
objects.

Housing Authority Subhead 110 Staff oncost Urban Council
The Housing Authority and the Urban Council were advised on
1st April 1975 that the revision of staff oncost rates for Government
servants might necessitate a revision of their respective oncost rates,
i.e. from 30% to 36% for the Authority and from 26% to 28% for the
Council. In subsequent correspondence with the Urban Council it was
noted that the existing oncost rate of 26% was applied across the
board to the full salary bill. It was, therefore, a general figure
/accepted....
