I discussed the issue concerning the replacement of Hong Kong's five patrol boats with the CBF. General Archer's concern was that the Royal Navy would try to impose on Hong Kong boats of a standard RN design which were not suitable for Hong Kong's conditions. I do not consider that we have any locus in this question at the moment. should take note but take no action.
