as well as a series of seminars in the UK. The Governor felt that UK companies needed to look closely at their stockholding arrangements in the Far East. More specifically he was pleased to see that Courtaulds were attempting to re-establish themselves as man-made fibre exporters to Hong Kong. He was also planning to meet the Minister of State for Industry to discuss the possibility of a shipbuilding charter/mortgage package.
