I am writing to thank you for your very helpful telno 827 and to tell you that, in accordance with the advice you gave in its paragraph 7, we intend to tell the Soviet Embassy some time in the week beginning 10 October that the proposed visit of the "Dimitriy Mendeleev" will "not be convenient".
