The Foreign and Commonwealth Office present their

compliments to the Embassy of the Union of Soviet

Socialist Republics and, with reference to the Embassy's

Note no. 59/AN of 5 August, has the honour to state that

they regret that it is not convenient for the "Dimitriy

Mendeleev" to visit Hong Kong from 31 October 3 November.
