HONG KONG: MONITORING THE PLANNING PAPER
1. I submit the minutes of the Second Meeting, on 7 February, of the Standing Committee set up to monitor the implementation of the Planning Paper on Hong Kong. The minutes have been approved in draft by Mr Cortazzi, who chaired the meeting, and Mr Murray. As in the case of the First Meeting of the Standing Committee, I am sending a copy of the minutes to the Governor of Hong Kong.
2. The Department is following up the various points arising from the Standing Committee's meeting.
