Given that the University of Aston is the only one which offers courses in factory safety and hygiene, I agree that it is surprising that the Hong Kong authorities have not arranged to send any of their factory inspectors there. I can only assume that this is because of the language difficulty. I agree with you, however, that the Labour Commissioner for Hong Kong should be told about the Aston University courses and that it should be suggested to him that it would be profitable to send suitable candi- dates there for the Certificate courses.
3. I shall be grateful if you will let me know the reaction of Mr Price to your suggestions.
