I then

I scraped the debris that was adhering to these garments and collected it

in a pill box. I also cut a known sample from each of these items,

took the debris and melted it on glass microscope slides. I melted the

fibres which I cut from the garments on glass microscope slides also, Then

I took the slides and compared the fibres. I found fibres that were

microscopially like the fibres from the shirt in the debris which was re-

moved from the dress.. My conclusion was that the blue fibres could have

originated from the same source.

I did find similar blue fibres on the slip and panty.

On 19/1/77 I went by the deceased's place. A crowd of people was there.

Accused came home in the morning about 8.00-8.30 a.m. He told me he was

going home.

I know Sgt Malone. He came to my home that day. I pointed out

accused room. I pointed out a valise as being the accused.

The red

sneakers shown me (EXH. V.M 4) belonged to accused. They were in the bag.

I said the blue shirt looked like accused.
