Sgt of Police No. 12 stationed at Road Town Police station.
On 19/1/77 I was a Cpl of Police. I am attached to the C.I.D.
On 19/1/77 I went to East End to the shop of the deceased at about 10:30
a.m. I had known the deceased for about 11 years. I know the shop well
too. Know accused.

I went into the kitchen. There was a pool of blood on the floor of
the kitchen near to the door that leads to the bar. The pool of blood was
about 2 ft. wide and 11⁄2 ft. long. It was fresh blood. There were two
black lady's ' sandals and pieceb of paper in the area of the blood. The
paper was brown paperi The sandals were about 2 ft. aparta I also observed
a blue wooden bench about 2 ft long lying on its side in the centre of the
floor. I also observed a refrigerator, kitchen utensils and a stove
inside the kitchen. There was a window in the kitchen on the sea-side.
The windows were closed at the time. I opened the window and observed that
there was red stain which appeared to be blood on the ground outside. The 15
stains were fresh. The window was about 3 ft. high from the floor.
There was a brown paper bag containing a guiness stout outside the window
on the ground. There was also a plastic cup of ice-cream on the ground
outside.

The brown paper bag was sindlar to those in the grocery section. There
was guiness stout in the regrigerator in the bar.
I went into the grocery. I saw a glass cabinet about 6 ft high. It
had shelves. It was opened. It contained plans and papers. They were
scattered inside. The plans had red stains which appeared to be blood.
I collected the plans and brought them to Road Town Police Station and
handed them over to P/C Samaroo.

There was a lady's hat on the floor in front of the cabinet. It was
turned up, and contained $2.00 made up of one 50% piece and 6 quarts. I
left the hat and money there.
