The first step is looking at the garment. The first chemical test is a
sceening test. This is significant in the case of a negative reaction.

the test is positive then there is the possibility that there is blood in
the stains. If blood is in the stains I will identify a particular crystal
under the microscope.
The next step is to determine if the blood is animal or human. If it is
positive then I know I have a human blood stain. Then I test for the blood 10

for blood. I received the items from the Director of the Crime Lab in St.
Thomas.
