THE CHAIRMAN, summing up the discussion, said that the paper should be revised on the lines agreed in discussion. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office should be responsible for the revision of paragraph 1 and paragraphs 4-9; the Foreign and Commonwealth, ffice Legal Advisors for paragraph' 10, the Home Office for paragraphs 12-18 and the Law Officers for paragraphs 19-27. The Secretariat would be responsible for re-drafting the conclusions and adding a new section on Further Action. Contributions should be sent to the Secretariat by close of play on Tuesday, 27 September. A new draft would be circulated to members of the group by 30 September with a view to considering it at a meeting during the week beginning 3 October.
