1. You drew my attention to the fact that the PUS asked to be kept informed about the meetings that you and others had with Mr Richard last week. Mr Jasper was at your meeting with Mr Richard on 23 May and Mr Milton, in my absence, attended Mr Luard's meeting with him on 24 May. On the basis of what they have reported to me about the discussions at these meetings, I attach a draft of a minute which you may care to send to the PS/FUS. UND concur.

I do not know whether you will also wish to inform the PUS about your meeting on 24 May with members of the UN Visiting Mission to the Caymans. I attach WIAD's note of this meeting in case you wish to show it to the PUS.
