1. Mr Le Breton, HM Commissioner, Anguilla, came to see me this afternoon. He is on leave and goes back until about April/lay next.
2.
Mr Dickson, Chief Secretary, is now to stay for 2 x 18 month tours instead of a 24 month tour. He can therefore sʊe in the new Commissioner.
3. The Attorney-General will be due to leave in mid-1978. I Busgested that he let WIAD know about a replacement about mid-1977 so that either we, or ODM, can start the hunt for a replacement.
•
4. Mr Le Breton touched on the question of equipping Government House,
- Lev Div is supplying funds and he will order what is required on his leave. He also mentioned his allowances and that he had had to use his own equipment. I suggested that he put this to the Inspectors (Messrs Langridge and Walter) when they visit Anguilla in mid-1977. I told him that the Inspectors had been briefed to look at the question of his house and equipment and at his allowances. ile might also wish to contact them before he
returi ad.
