MAINTENANCE OF GOVERNMENT HOUSE

1.

Sir Bruce Greatbatch, DevDiv, on behalf of Caribbean Governors has taken up the question of maintenance of Government Houses.

2. This has been a recurrent complaint for many years from the smaller budget aided Dependent Territory Governors.

3. I attach a draft note on the subject, which if you agree I suggest might be circulated initially to Heads of Departments concerned for their views.

I will let you have a note about Governors' leave passages separately.
