ACCOMMODATION

I have been away on leave and I am sorry therefore that you have not received an earlier reply to your minute of 25 November.

2.

When we met last week I explained that, as soon as the projected move of Gibraltar Section to SED take place, we should be arranging a re-allocation of rooms which we hope will solve a number of the existing accommodation problems in your area of the second floor of King Charles Street. While these plans are being worked out, Mr Hall may continue to occupy K 273B and the new grade DS6 may initially occupy K 272A, but neither should regard these as their permanent rooms. In fact, as I fore-warned you, the pressure on accommodation being what it is, I think it doubtful that we shall be able to provide individual rooms for Mr Hall and the new Head of Section.

3. I will be getting in touch with you again as soon as a decision on the future of GGD is taken and it becomes possible to proceed with a re-allocation of rooms.
