The weeding of the 1973 files has been completed and the registers bound.

LIAISON

18. Close liaison is maintained between the Registry and the Department, and the Liaison Officer, Mr Pauncefort, is satisfied with the service given to the Department.

INTEGRATION

19. As we have said earlier, it would be wasteful of manpower to integrate the remaining desks in this Registry.

SECURITY

20. The arrangements for the handling of TOP SECRET files is in accordance with DSP. Physical security is satisfactory and checking is done on a roster basis.
