Further to my letter of 4th May 1976, I enclose two more petitions which have been received from the Lee Clansmen's Association and the New Territories Chairman of Society, Fraternal Association, that the service as Governor of Hong Kong of Sir Murray MacLehose be extended. They have been acknowledged.

We shall transmit to the petitioners in due course whatever reply you formulate.
